for safety there is no comparison, do you see them wearing textile suit's on the race track?. no Leather every time
full leathers come with CE approved armour also leather jackets & trousers have CE approved armour,
after all you want protection first & foremost its not nice when they are picking gravel & fabric out of your skin after a spill
